I'm feeling terribly unmotivated right now. For one thing, my external hard drive is busted. ALL of my brushes were on that thing. I can only hope that Best Buy's Geek Squad can get the files off of it and put them on a new one for me. Because not only does it contain all my brushes, but all my music and manga too. :'( Money's tight though, so I have no clue when I'll be able to get a new one.

I've also fallen into a new fandom, and I'm in that obsessive stage. I spend waaay too much time on LJ these days. And wikipedia. And...Oh nvm. You don't need to know what a dork I am.

So, I'll try to make up for it and upload something. I do have 2 VK colorings almost done. I scanned the lineart myself, so they're huge. Big enough for wallpapers. But I really can't do BGs w/o downloading new brushes, and I'm still too depressed about not being able to access my collection to do that. I think I'll just reduce the size and paste them together on a terribly simple BG. I'll make wallpapers later. Maybe. Ugh.

Oh, if anyone wants to suggest a good panel of Ichijou Takuma I can color, I'll attempt to make a tutorial. Though I'm not the best at coloring, y' know. But since asked and I could use a project, I suppose I'll give it a shot.

Any of you who make Vampire Knight wallpapers, fanart, or colored scans should check to see if a website called Vampire Knight Heaven has pilfered your work. (I'd link you, but they don't need their site counter going up.) Their entire gallery of wallpapers is stolen, and their 'scans' and "pictures" sections includes fanarts and colored scans that I recognize from dA. I know they don't ask for permission, because 'Zero-Bloody Rose' is in the wallpaper gallery, and I sure as hell didn't tell them they could put it there.

Excuse me while I go figure out how to deal with this outrage.

How much Japanese music can one listen to without becoming annoyingly otaku-ish?

I'm going to have to force myself to stop listening to MUCC. It doesn't fit the mood of what I'm working on AT ALL. Back to Capsule, I think. I'll have to make an angsty Zero wallpaper here soon for an excuse to listen to 'Ware arubeki Basho' on endless repeat.
